AGAPE BAPTIST CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
KAMPALA - UGANDA

We have partnered with Agape Baptist Church to begin assisting the 84 orphans that they care for. Agape Baptist Church Children’s Village was started as the result of a one time donation that allowed the church to construct the eight homes that make up this orphanage.

The children that are being cared for at this children’s village are orphans because their parents have died from AIDS or other diseases and their families could not or would not care for them. In some cases, these children have been sold into slavery, and then rescued by Agape Baptist Church. These 84 kids have now found an amazing home. Agape Baptist children’s village homes each house one mother and twelve children. The children and the mothers work together to plant crops, raise rabbits and chickens, do laundry, cook meals, provide education, and all of the other essentials that a child would need. These children are well cared for.

The funds from the initial grant, however, will expire soon. The church is working hard at developing projects that will produce an income to keep the village operating, and even bring in more children. There will be a gap, however, between when the initial funds expire, and the income generating projects become profitable enough to sustain the village.

Mosaic Vision Ministries will stand in that gap to provide food, clothing, and necessities until the time when the village can sustain itself. The current cost to sustain the village is $3000 per month. The Agape Baptist church stepped out in faith believing that God would provide a home for these children. We believe this, too.

Will you partner with us to make this happen?
